Who is Jesus? A Conversation between a Muslim and Christian will feature Mr. Inamul Haq of Elmhurst College and Dr. Mark Draper of Evangelical Seminary in dialogue with one another. The event will be hosted by West Shore Baptist Church on the evening of March 15th– registration is free through the C.S. Lewis Institute website:

Mark Draper is originally from Philadelphia, comes to Evangelical via the Chicagoland area, where he completed his doctorate in Historical Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he was also a Jonathan Edwards Fellow. He has served as the Assistant Director of the Niebuhr Center for Faith and Action and adjunct professor in history and religion at Elmhurst College. While at Elmhurst College, Mark worked closely with campus ministries such as Cru, Intervarsity, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In this role, he developed a passion to train men and women at the seminary level to minster to college students and young adults to help them develop a Christian worldview. Prior to moving to Chicago, Mark served as a library supervisor at the Free Library of Philadelphia.
Inam Haq specializes in Islamic theology, Qur’anic studies, history of Islam, and Muslims in America. He has an international educational background and interreligious professional experience. He has received professional and graduate degrees from Islamic seminaries in Pakistan and from major universities in the U.S. He has been a principal at Islamic high schools and taught in graduate and undergraduate programs. At Elmhurst College he gives leadership to the development of its Islamic studies curriculum and teaches introductory courses on Islam and international courses on religion in Turkey, Israel, Palestine and Jordan.
