33rd Annual Golf Tournament
May 17, 2018●12:00 noon
Fairview Golf Course
2399 Quentin Rd
Lebanon, PA 17042
In light of this week’s rainy weather—and no bright spots in the forecast—we wanted to communicate with you about Evangelical Seminary’s 33rd Annual Golf Tournament scheduled for this Thursday, May 17.
Our buffet dinner and gift distribution will still be held at 12 noon in the pavilion. The golf portion of the tournament, however, will be cancelled by recommendation of the Fairview Golf Course Tournament Director.
Several of the greens are unplayable at this point, and significant damage could be done to the course if we played in these conditions. Moreover, the wet weather would require us to have a “golf cart path only” tournament, creating a significant challenge for some of our older golfers.
Please note that course vouchers will be given to each registered golfer for use at Fairview Golf Course anytime over the next year.
If you come to the buffet dinner—and we certainly hope you do because the food is great and the fellowship is fantastic—you can pick up your course voucher, along with:
- A sleeve of three Callaway golf balls
- This year’s tournament gift—a ball marker and repair tool
- A take-home “care package” of fruit, snacks, and bottled beverage
- A random door prize matching your tournament ticket number
If you are unable to come to the buffet dinner, we will mail you your course voucher. If you do come to the dinner, you’re going to have a good time, a great meal, and several goodies to take home.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but sometimes the “showers of blessing” we pray for are answered with literal rain showers!
Please share this information with other members of your foursome. If you have any questions, or need additional information, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (484) 269-4313.
I hope to see you Thursday at noon in the Fairview Golf Course Pavilion.
