State Educational Requirements for Licensure


Below you will find in what states the MAMFT Program meets the educational requirements for licensure.

Evangelical Seminary (and Kairos University) MA MFT degree meets licensure requirements in forty (40) States:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Three (3) states have special Internship hours that could possible be achieved:

Maine, Oregon, Utah

Six (6) States Require Specific Coursework that Evangelical’s MFT Program does not offer:

Arkansas, Indiana, Maryland, North Dakota, Rhode Island, West Virginia

One (1) State has Course Requirements that are Specific to the State and cannot be met while in a training program outside of the State:
