Evangelical Seminary is approved by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church for the training of approved ministerial candidates. We are approved by a variety of other churches and denominational bodies for training their candidates for ordained ministry. At any one time, over two dozen denominations are represented in the student body of Evangelical.
