Rod White,
Rod completed his PhD in Marriage and Family therapy at Eastern University. He also received an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary. His BA is in history from the University of California at Riverside.
His main work has been in church planting, serving as the lead pastor for Madison St. Brethren in Christ in California, where he was raised, and for the Circle of Hope congregations in the Philadelphia region, where he has spent the past two decades. He presently serves as their Development Pastor.
Recently Rod has added psychotherapy and spiritual direction to his schedule, working with Circle Counseling in South Philadelphia. He is also working on organizing Hallowood Institute with his wife, Gwen, with numerous other interests in peacemaking, reconciliation and social action as well as regular entries and editing for his blogs: Development, Circle of Hope Daily Prayer WIND and WATER, and Celebrating Our Transhistorical Body.
Rod’s four sons and their families all live in the Philadelphia area and are integral to Circle of Hope.
