Dying is Inevitable, Preparing is Optional
The Center for Lifelong Learning in collaboration with Good Samaritan Health System presents a seminar to help pastors and interested individuals minister to families as they deal with the many emotions that surround death. Death can be sudden and unexpected, or we may have time to get ready, but either way, many families are not ready for the multiple decisions that the passing of a loved one thrusts upon them.
Our desire is to come along side those who assist grieving families deal with making difficult decisions during this period of intense emotional stress. To this end we have engaged a physician, a funeral director, and a pastor to speak to some of the complex issues that may need to be addressed during this time of transition for families. Situations may vary, and each situation is unique, but there are general principles that may be helpful.
The seminar is open to all who journey with those going through the dark valley of death and grief.
Cost: $45 (includes lunch)
